Ramadan Iftar in Tennessee for the benefit of relief programs in Yemen

In order to provide the necessary funds for programs for the care of destitute orphans and the poorest families in Yemen who are sponsored within the framework of its humanitarian programs, the International Council for Relief and Development ICRD held on April 6th the first charity dinner for the year 2023 in the Islamic Center of the city of Memphis MIC ,the US state of Tennessee, where it was attended by many members of the Yemeni, Arab and Islamic communities in the states of Tennessee ,Mississippi, and Michigan, those who donated generously, may God reward them well. It is worth noting that the donation campaign had started before this charitable Iftar and will continue until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

The campaign has so far resulted in the collection of an amount of one hundred and ninety thousand, one hundred and sixteen dollars ($190,116), some of which are still commitments, and the campaign continues. Thank you to the generous donors, and may God reward them well.

It is worth mentioning that the ICRD has an annual sponsorship program for orphans under the age of 13 in six Yemeni governorates and the capital Sana’a, and the orphan and his family receive a monthly food basket and clothing for every Eid, a bag and school supplies at the beginning of each academic year. The poorest families also in the annual sponsorship program that exists in three governorates receive a monthly food basket throughout the year, and there are other programs like emergency food assistance ,educational and health programs.

The guest of the charitable Iftar and the keynote speaker was Dr. Amir Ghaleb Haidara, Mayor of Hamtramck City in Michigan, USA, who traveled during Ramadan in order to contribute to the collection of charitable donations for the benefit of orphans and the poorest families in Yemen, based on his religious, patriotic and humanitarian duty. The presence of the Mayor and his word of encouragement was a great motivation for the success of the event, and we, in turn, in the Board of Trustees, the management and volunteers of the ICRD extend our sincere thanks to him on behalf of the beneficiaries in Yemen.

إفطار رمضاني في ولاية تنسي لصالح البرامج الإغاثية في اليمن:

من اجل توفير الاموال اللازمة لصالح برامج رعاية الايتام المعدمين والاسر الاشد فقرا في اليمن المكفولين في اطار برامجه الإنسانية اقام المجلس الدولي للإغاثة والتنمية العشاء الخيري الاول للعام ٢٠٢٣م في المركز الاسلامي لمدينة ميمفس ولاية تنسي الامريكية حيث حضره العديد من ابناء الجاليات اليمنية والعربية والاسلامية في ولايات تنسي والمسيسيبي وميشجان والذين تبرعوا بسخاء جزاهم الله خير. الجدير بالذكر ان حملة التبرعات كانت قد بدأت قبل هذا الإفطار الخيري وسوف تستمر حتى نهاية شهر رمضان الكريم.

تمخضت الحملة الى الان عن جمع مبلغ مأئة وتسعين الف ومأئة وستة عشر دولار(١٩٠١١٦$)البعض منها لا زالت التزامات والحملة مستمرة وشكرا للمتبرعين الكرماء وجزاهم الله خير فهم كما عودونا دائما سباقون لإغاثة المحتاجين وضحايا الحروب والنزاعات المسلحة والكوارث الطبيعية في اي بلد او منطقة.

الجدير ذكره ان لدى المجلس برنامج كفالة الايتام السنويه تحت سن ١٣ سنه في ستة من المحافظات اليمنية وامانة العاصمة صنعاء ويحصل اليتيم وعائلته على سله غذائيه شهريه وكسوة في كل عيد وحقيبة ومستلزمات مدرسية بداية كل عام دراسي وتحصل الاسر الاشد فقرا في برنامج الكفالة السنوية القائم في ثلاث محافظات على سلة غذائيه شهرية على مدار العام وهناك برامج اخرى للمساعدة الغذائيه الطارئة وفي مجالي التعليم والصحة.

كان ظيف الافطار الخيري والمتكلم الرئيسي الدكتور/ امير غالب حيدره عمدة مدينة هامترامك في ولاية ميشجان الامريكية الذي تكعف وعثاء السفر في رمضان من اجل المساهمة في جمع التبرعات الخيرية لصالح الايتام والاسر الاشد فقرا في اليمن انطلاقا من واجبه الديني والوطني والإنساني . كان حضور العمدة وكلمته التشجيعية دافع كبير لإنجاح الفعالية ونحن بدورنا في مجلس الامناء وادارة ومتطوعي المجلس نتوجه بالشكر الجزيل له نيابة عن المستفيدين في اليمن.
